This is a great movie! I went to the premiere last night in the city and it was truly impressive. Adrian Brody was brilliant as Leonard Chess of Chess Records, the man who helped create some of the greatest names in Blues and beyond...Etta James, Muddy Waters, etc. Mos Def plays a perfect Chuck Berry. Beyonce and Adrian have amazing chemistry.

My only moment of eh was when Beyonce re-recorded every Etta James classic, while the other actors did not do that and instead during the scenes where their character was singing, the actual recording of the original hit was used. I would have enjoyed hearing Etta James as done by Etta James.
