Operation Enduring Freedom - Thanksgiving in Afghanistan

 

My brother, Captain Christopher Will, is a Chinhook pilot serving in Afghanistan. His mission on Thanksgiving Day? To deliver warm turkey dinner to all the forward operating bases, insuring that all the troops in his region had a nice meal. Hollywooders occasionally travel to far away places to up the moral of American troops - in this case, DeAnna Pappas, Greg Germann and Kelly Carlson made their way to Kandahar Afghanistan last week where they were taking a flight with my brother's air unit. The program is called Ambassadors of Hollywood. It's awesome that celebrities sign up to do this - I'd like to visit the men and women over there, too.
