The Spice Girls Concert

 

A certain birthday buddy and I went to the Spice Girls concert last night at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. It was delicious, colorful and wholeheartedly entertaining! I have to say, I found myself laughing and screaming the words to each song all at the same time.

There is something so fabulously ridiculous about Victoria Beckham onstage. She seems so out of place, yet her voice is not nearly as terrible as everyone makes it out to be. You can just tell it takes her a bit more effort than say, Mel C, who belted out her classic dance anthem, "I Turn to You". It really brought back enjoyable memories of long lost college moments dancing at nightclubs. Mel B I can take or leave, Geri is rock solid and super sexy, but my fave is OF COURSE...say it with me...

Emma Bunton aka Baby Spice. Why? Do you really have to ask? She's blonde, fair-skinned and always wears pretty dresses! Much like Kelly Ripa is my work icon, Emma is my little real life style icon. She's an attainable goal...

I surprisingly LOVED it! One of those time of your life memories. I took many pictures and videos but I'll upload them during the week. (Maybe not the videos...that could be embarassing for all parties involved...)
