Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has been in Toronto for the Much Music Awards all weekend. It seems he was assaulted outside his hotel, the SoHo Met around 3:30am EST. He alerted the public and the police at the same time via Twitter.
At this point, I don't think this is a joke or the work of a hacker. The police are reportedly on the scene thanks to hundreds of phone calls from his Twitter followers.
