Has this been going on?

Butter. You know I've had a love affair with Butter for a very long time. Monday nights can be truly outrageous and this Monday was one of those winners!!!

Greg M and I celebrated his new career all night long. We began early with dinner and eventually ended up at Butter with the gang. The gang. Wow...hey Tiger Woods, do you enjoy the US Open? Well then I'll see you there!

Sad But True

 

This weekend is full of sad news...Owen Wilson was taken to the hospital in an ambulance on Sunday. His brother Andrew found him (according to the National Enquirer) at his home drugged up on sleeping pills with shallow slash cuts on his wrist. Swirling stories are all pointing to this as a suicide attempt. Something big must be happening in his life to make him feel like this is the only answer. I love him and this is just so tragic. From the outside he seems like such a fun, young, successful actor.

Nick Hogan's Car Accident

 

Nick Hogan was in a terrible car accident on Sunday in Clearwater, FL, with a good friend. They were speeding along a main road and hit a large palm tree. Nick and his pal were cut from the car and immediately flown to the hospital. The Hogan's are all reported to be by his side now. Nick is in serious condition and his friend is in critical condition. I've had the opportunity to hang out with him on quite a few occasions. Nick is a great guy - so sweet. I hope he and his friend heal quickly.

Lindsay Lohan has actually taken the first step in recovery and released a press statement admitting to her drug and alcohol addiction. She plead guilty to the charges against her and will likely serve about 83 minutes in jail for her two DUI charges.

82 Minutes In The Kennel

 

It sounds like one of Britney's tragic marriages/life story, but, Nicole Richie had to take her dogs to the kennel so that she could serve her whopping 4 day jail sentence. After 82 minutes at the correctional facility, she was released due to overcrowding. Those dogs must have been thrilled to have her back so quickly. Now Joel...I'm not so sure. He was probably planning some much-needed guy time.

50 and Kanye are milking that "feud", which is clearly just a grand marketing ploy.

In order from left to right...50 Cent, Kanye West, Diddy, Jay Z (who looks shockingly thin or maybe that's TI...). The boys hopped onstage at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night and gave the crowd something to scream about at Screamfest.

I lied. Madonna and Justin do not have a performance planned at the VMA's. However, the 50 Cent/Kanye West war is going to be in full throttle. 50 is performing at the Hard Rock on the roof and throwing a huge bash, sponsored by Vitamin Water on Saturday night. Now, I'm just guessing, but JT and 50 have that little song together, so you know JT will be at the party. Excitement is building...I can't wait!

No Food In The Car

 

I think Victoria is probably a wonderful mom. She always has her boys with her, and she cuddles and kisses them all the time. It's just that last week Life & Style reported that she orders them salads and fruit plates when they go to all of these American restaurants like TGIFriday's and the Cheesecake Factory. I support healthy eating in children, but why bother even going to those restaurants?

It is a slowwwww news day and nothing is really jumping out at me to tell you about, so I thought I'd post a few of my ferris wheel pictures together from my Paris vacation. The ferris wheel (next to the Louvre)is the best way to get a quick understanding of Paris before you start sightseeing. It is the best way to spend 6 euros in Paris.

MOVIE TIME!

 

Reviewed on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best. I finally caught up on my movies, so I thought I'd share!

Stardust - 8 - Michelle Pfeiffer is the best reason to see it, but the story itself is a fantasy and almost perfectly written.

Superbad - 6 - The bad language was beyond overused, but Michael Cera (formally on Arrested Development) makes it bearable and hysterical.

Transformers (photo)-10- Michael Bay perfectly transformed this cartoon from my childhood. Shia LaBeouf's acting and humor is so great that I was able to overlook Josh Duhamel's typical lack of talent mixed with perfect looks. There is definitely a sequel on it's way and now, I know that Shia will be a great action star in the new Indiana Jones flick.

The Simpsons - 6 - To be fair, I rarely watch the TV show, so I was just filling time on a rainy Sunday night. It was funny, kind of gross, a little cute.

The Bourne Ultimatum -10- A different love from the first 10 I gave. Matt Damon rarely excites me, but in this series, he is unstoppable as Jason Bourne aka now David Webb. We finally learn his real identity and what made him a government contract killer. The action sequences are mainly done by Damon himself and Joan Allen is a kick ass CIA powerhouse. I can't wait for the 4th Bourne movie!

JT + Marquee

 

Erika, Cleo and I went to the JT concert at MSG last night. It was the official filming of his HBO special, which will air on September 3rd. I've seen this exact concert a few other times this year (crazy obsessed) and Justin got a little dirty onstage this time around. A lot dirty. WE LOVED IT!

After the show we walked down to Marquee for Noah's (Tepperberg, an owner) birthday and dipped into their supply of champagne. Shauna, Ali P and Ali C, Kelly B, Jen, Tammie...the gang was all there.

Look Out New York

 

David Beckham is on his way here in that extemely dapper Savile Row suit. Is that an Ozwald Boateng he's wearing? Apparently, our soccer team is named the New York Red Bull after the famous energy drink. The LA Galaxy are on their way here for a game on Saturday. I'm quite sure that David is the most swish (I'm making swish happen with Victoria.) man who has ever flown the friendly skies. What a suit to wear for a 6 hour flight!?!

That's right...I'm going to JT tonight at MSG. The newly blonde GLitt will not be my dance partner like the last JT at MSG...instead, girls night! E & C are meeting me at the Garden.
